My theoretical approach is a combination of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Person-Centered Therapy.
CBT and DBT have the highest efficacy in research. Meaning they have been scientifically studied and shown to make the most impact in therapy.
Person-Centered I believe is the best approach for establishing a therapeutic relationship as it focuses on unconditional positive regard (no judgment), empathy, and client empowerment (you contribute most to your own change.)

When you begin with me, you are only committing to one session. I know it takes time to find the person who works for you, and I may not be that person.
I will work with you to ensure best fit from the first consultation call.
However, I encourage you to attend at least two sessions as establishing a therapeutic relationship takes time. If it’s still not the best fit, I’ll provide you referrals to other providers.
